Mysteries of the Egyptian pyramids

The culture of Egypt is perhaps one of the most fascinating pages in the history of mankind. It is not for nothing that Russian tourists fell in love with Egypt so much – not only for the warm Red Sea and its cheap hotels on “all inclusive”, but also for the most interesting excursions that are available at mass resorts – trips to Cairo to the famous pyramids of Giza, and trips to Luxor in the Valley of the Pharaohs and Karnak Temple. Indeed, Egyptian civilization is original. According to some ideas, reflected in Egyptian creation myths, people arose from the tears of the sun god Ra. Two main cults formed in ancient Egypt: the cult of Osiris and the cult of the sun.

For a long time, the pyramids were associated with the solar theory, since the sun in Egypt was the main deity, and the pharaoh was the son of Ra, the god of the sun. It was believed that the pyramids symbolized the frozen stream of sunlight. After all, it is known that the walls of the pyramids were lined, and they could see their dazzling radiance at a distance of many kilometers around.

But two researchers G. Buwell and E. Gilbert put forward another hypothesis – stellar. According to researchers, in the culture of ancient Egypt, stars were considered a manifestation of the appearance of various deities. It was based on the fact that the pharaoh, although he was the incarnation and son of the god Ra during his lifetime, was identified with the god Osiris, the king of the afterlife, after death. According to some sources, at the top of the Cheops pyramid was the sacred stone of Benben – a symbol of the Phoenix, the sacred bird of the god Atum.

Atum was identified as the night sun with Osiris. Perhaps the pyramids combined both cults – both the Sun and Osiris, but only the night sun. The Benben stone was of stellar origin (probably a meteorite fragment).

All this led researchers to the idea of the connection of the pyramids not with the cult of the Sun, but with the cult of Osiris. If the god Ra was represented by the Egyptians in the form of a solar disk, then Osiris – in the form of the constellation Orion.

Why not assume that the pyramids symbolize the stars of Orion, and not the Sun? Prior to this, few people thought about the connection of the pyramids with the night sky, or rather with the heavenly kingdom of the dead by the Duat, with the stars. The kingdom of Duat was in that part of the sky where the circumpolar stars never fell beyond the horizon, that is, they existed in the Egyptians’ view forever. Researchers have come to a sensational discovery.

They found a series of correspondences between the stars in the sky and the pyramids on the earth. Three stars of the Orion belt repeated the placement of the pyramids in Giza. Their sizes corresponded to the brightness of the stars, and the position relative to the Nile river was similar to the position of the stars of Orion relative to the celestial river – the Milky Way!

Moreover, it was found that other pyramids are an earthly copy of stars. It turns out that the architectural structures of the ancient Egyptians reproduce a map of the starry sky. Having created a copy of the kingdom of Duat on earth, they, according to the laws of similarity magic, provided the possibility of the deceased’s transition to the heavenly kingdom of the dead.

Then it becomes clear why the Egyptians spared no effort to build the pyramids, although most likely the pharaohs were not buried in the pyramids, and why the construction stopped after the IV dynasty. The Egyptians have already created Heaven on Earth, as they say in one secret Egyptian text: “Both in heaven and on earth.”

Thus, the pyramids were “star gates” and were not intended for specific pharaohs, but for magically identifying any pharaoh with the king of the afterlife Osiris and moving him after death from earth to heaven to the kingdom of Duat to continue life in eternity.
